In the midst of playing four ranked opponents over a six-game stretch, the Blue Devils responded to Tuesday’s loss to No. 19 Kentucky by pounding Wofford on Saturday.

No. 6 Duke beat Wofford 86-35 to follow up its first loss of the season with its most lopsided victory. Tyrese Proctor scored 15 points and Caleb Foster had 13 for Duke.

The avalanche helped create a 51-14 lead at the halfway point, and thanks to the Terriers only making five of their 33 3-point attempts, Duke held Wofford to 35 points, a program record in the shot clock era.
