Grimmway Farms voluntarily recalled some organic whole carrots and baby carrots after the CDC found that they may be associated with an outbreak.

One person has died and dozens have been sickened, many of them local, across nearly 20 states in an E. coli outbreak the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says is linked to organic bagged carrots.

Grimmway Farms is recalling organic and whole baby carrots, sold in major retailers including Whole Foods, Trader Joe's and Wegmans, that are linked to an E. coli outbreak that has hospitalized 15 people and resulted in at least one death.
