The next round of November's Social Security payments are headed out to recipients in a few short days. If you're expecting a check this coming week, we'll tell you when you'll get it.

In December, SSI recipients will receive their payments a day early – Dec. 31 – because Jan. 1 is the New Year’s Day holiday. These checks will reflect two different amounts because the 2025 Cost of Living Adjustment increase will apply to the payment made on Dec. 31.

It's officially November. Here's the Social Security payment schedule for the month, including when SSI beneficiaries will get paid for December ahead of time.

December’s Supplemental Security Income payment, worth up to $943, will go out to millions of beneficiaries in 15 days. The next SSI payments are scheduled to be distributed on Nov. 29 because Dec. 1 is a Sunday.
